Automotive Technology Organization

We work to build character, skills, and our careers.  We do this through:

  • Industry Connections - We arrange opportunities to visit various industry locations each year and attend guest lectures. We discover career opportunities, study new skills, and learn about industry advancement.
  • Community Service - We inspect vehicles from the surrounding community to build communication skills and civic responsibility.
  • ASE Test Prep Clinics where upperclassmen tutor students in preparation for certification exams.
  • Open Shop Nights where we continue to gain valuable technical skills outside of the classroom.

Restoration and Fabrication projects allow us to gain hands-on experience in restoring a 1954 Chevrolet 1-ton Grain Truck

Our motorsports teams allow us to building, service, repair, and of course drive our race vehicles. Current motorsports teams include our 1966 Chevy Nova Super Sport drag racing team, our 1994 Honda Del Sol auto cross racing team, and our in development 1969 Chevy C-10 drag racing team.
