A 1983 SIU Automotive Graduate, Mr. Turvey is currently responsible for General Motors Global Service Engineering, Warehousing, Logistics, Lean Warehousing, Supply Chain, Product Development, Enterprise Analytics, Revenue Management, F&I Products, Accessory Supply Chain, Distribution and network management., Global Sales & Marketing, Global Process lead, and Six Sigma based Operational Excellence. In his early career, Mr. Turvey held numerous positions across the U.S. such as District Service Manager, District Sales Manager, Car Distributor, Manager of Dealer Communications, and Market Area Manager. In 2000, Mr. Turvey assumed the position of Aftersales Director GM China Group, and in 2002 he became Director of Aftersales and Vehicle Processing Center for General Motors Japan. In 2003, Mr. Turvey became the Director of Aftersales for GM China and Shanghai General Motors. In 2006, he became General Director Service Parts Operations with General Motors Canada and in 2008 the Regional Aftersales Director Latin America, Africa and Middle East. Later, progressing to become General Director Aftersales Business Management, Executive Director Sales and marketing – GMNA Aftersales, GM North American Vice President of Customer Care and Aftersales, and in 2014 his current position as GM Global Vice President Customer Care and Aftersales.
